Comments:
The exact placement of this adventure in the chronology of Arion's adventures is not clear. Arion mentions preventing an ice age which places it sometime after Arion, Lord of Atlantis #10. Since Chian, Wyynde, and Mara are all together, and the story does not fit into events after Wyynde becomes dhonu, the best chronological placement of this story is after Arion, Lord of Atlantis #11.
Synopsis:
During a battle against Chaon, Arion is transported into the future. He meets Superman and suspects him of being in league with his foe. After a brief fight, the two heroes are able to establish communication with an enchanted earring. Superman then offers to take Arion back in time. However, Chaon has sent demons into the time stream to prevent Arion's return.
Superman then takes Arion to the ruins of the City of the Golden Gate buried beneath the ocean. Arion locates his tower in the ruins and finds one final crystal belonging to his father Caculha. Using the crystal, Arion is able to transport himself and the Man of Steel into Darkworld. From there, the duo is able to bypass the time stream and get to Atlantis in Arion's time period.
Arion and Superman then thwart Chaon's plans which involve invoking the power of a lunar eclipse. In so doing, Superman is thrown back to his own time. Chaon is defeated, but Arion is left with no memory of the future.
