Synopsis:
King Philip II of Spain learns that Henry IV of Navarre will soon be crowned King of France. He orders his agents led by Don Gomez to assassinate Henry before his coronation ceremony.

Having spied on the spanish king, the Black Pirate learns of the plot and sails to France to stop Gomez. The Black Pirate is captured by Gomez as he delivers a bomb to Henry. Justin, disguised as a jester, interrupts them and rescues his father. The assassination plot is revealed, and Gomez is killed. Henry then proclaims that the Black Pirate is a friend of France.
