Synopsis:
Four members of the Forever People have been transported into the past by Darkseid's Omega Effect. Mark Moonrider and Beautiful Dreamer find themselves in Ford Theatre on the day of Lincoln's assassination. Vykin the Black is taken prisoner by Spaniards seeking gold in the new world. Big Bear is sent to Britain where he observes the departure of the Roman legions.

In the present Serafin is attacked by the Justifiers. They cause a mountain to fall on top of him and the Super-Cycle. He is saved by the Alpha Effect which has been used by Highfather. This same effect transports the other Forever People back to their own time. Serafin then finds himself in Japan where he finds Mother Box. Sonny Sumo and Mother Box were also transported hundreds of years into the past. Sonny lived out his life there. He left Mother Box in the care of monks until Serafin arrives to retrieve it.
