Synopsis:
Heiress Donna Daye is given a job at APEX Broadcasting by her uncle the owner. She quickly makes moves on Alan Scott and Green Lantern. Seeking to get GL's attention, Donna hires gangsters to stage a kidnapping. She hopes that GL will rescue her. Doiby uncovers her scheme, so Green Lantern allows her to be kidnapped.

Though Donna's plan falls apart, the gangsters won't release her. They make the kidnapping real and demand money from her uncle. Green Lantern follows the payment which leads him to Donna. He rescues her from the gang, then admonishes her behavior. Her uncle learns that she was responsible too and fires her from the radio station.
