Synopsis:
Jonah Hex captures a gang of stage coach robbers and leads them back to town to collect a reward. Along the way, a winter storm forces them to take refuge in a farm house. The farm belongs to an old woman and her daughter Valerie. The girl is involved with Roy, one of the bandits. She releases him, he knocks out Hex, and they escape together.

The old woman takes care of Hex. While in bed, he has nightmares of his days in the Civil War. When he is strong enough, he goes after Roy and Valerie. He kills Roy and brings Valerie back to her mother. However, the one remaining crook, Luke, has hurt the old woman while Hex was away. Jonah fetches a doctor, then tracks down and kills Luke.
