Synopsis:
Bulldozer is stunned when he receives a letter from home. While staring blankly at the letter, Easy Company falls under attack. Rock pushes Bulldozer to safety then demands an explanation.

Bulldozer explains that prior to the war he was employed at the Chicago stock yards. A gang of crooks assaulted him and stole his paycheck. During the fight, Bulldozer believed he killed one of the attackers. He then ran from police. The rest of the gang began blackmailing Bulldozer, and he paid them off. Bulldozer thinks the letter is another extortion attempt.

After Bulldozer finishes his explanation, a Nazi tank attack begins. Bulldozer helps Rock take out the tanks. Rock then opens the letter which reveals that Bulldozer never killed the man. The alleged victim's mother discovered the plot and has sent Bulldozer his money back. Free from his own conscience at last, Bulldozer then leads Easy to another victory over the Nazis.
