Synopsis:
While performing his act at a nightclub Sargon asks to borrow an item from the audience. Gene Weir hands over the Kroonstad Diamond. Sargon is surprised, and Weir's girl friend warns Gene that Plug Hutton will not be happy. Sargon returns the jewel, but not before a commotion ensues between Weir and Hutton.

After the show Sargon calls Weir using his real name, John Sargent. He offers to buy the diamond, and Weir agrees to meet. When Sargon arrives he forces Weir to admit that the diamond is stolen and that he is fencing it for Hutton. The rest of the gang arrives, but Sargon stops them. The sorcerer then forces the crooks to turn themselves in at the police station.
