Synopsis:
Reclusive miser Chauncey Lowe learns that his son Edgar has died while fighting for freedom as a soldier. Inspired by his son's sacrifice, Lowe contacts Mr. Terrific about a plan to aid the war effort. Before Mr. Terrific arrives, crooks break into Lowe's house and steal his collection of toy soldiers. Mr. Terrific tracks down the crooks and apprehends them. The toy soldiers, which are made of gold, are then sold to raise money in support of America's troops.
