This story is continued from the second story of Warlord #56 and continues in the second story of Warlord #58.

Synopsis:
Arion has been captured by a tribe of sub-men. A shaman attempts to sacrifice the unconscious sorcerer upon an altar, but his actions are interrupted by Lady Chian and Wyynde. The two warriors fight the sub-men and protect Lord Arion from danger.

Meanwhile, the mage carries on a fight of his own in the dreamworld. Three beings claiming to represent aspects of the cosmic balance try to converse with the young mage. Arion refuses to listen to them and uses his magic to fight them. The three then combine their might to fight back.

Back in the temple, Arion finally awakens and unleashes bolts of mystical energy. The bolts strike three ice-encased statues and release the beings Tynan, Chaon, and Gemimn from captivity.
