Synopsis:
Joan’s father, Major Williams, is accused of being a spy for a foreign power. Flash investigates and learns that the publisher of the Town Cackle, a local newspaper, is responsible. The publisher, Berstoff, wants to steal the plans to Williams’s new invention and sell it to foreign bidders. Flash gathers evidence against Berstoff which allows Williams to go free. Then he forces a confession from Berstoff and turns him over to the authorities.
