Synopsis:
Crooks gain possession of a scientific machine that can control minds. Guy Graney offers a reward to the crook who can use the machine to make Batman reveal his secret identity. Several crooks use the device on Batman, causing him to perform strange feats such as high-diving and lion-taming. Each crook tries to get Batman to reveal his identity, but they fail. Batman tracks down one of the crooks, Victor Vonn, and learns Graney's plan. He then has Alfred disguise himself as a crook and use the machine. Batman then unmasks on television, but make-up conceals his real identity. Alfred then leads the Caped Crusaders to Graney, and the machine is destroyed.
