Synopsis:
Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the Brentwood Rehabilitation Home because Clark suspects the caretakers of wrongdoing. Although a cursory tour of the place shows no evidence of mistreatment, the reporters are approached by a child from the home, Davey Merrill, when they leave. Davey tells them about the abuse he suffers from Mr. and Mrs. Tweed, the superindendants.
Lois takes Davey back to the home, while Clark leaves to alert the police. Lois is caught searching for evidence, and is locked up with Davey as a result. Clark returns as Superman, rescuing the captives. Lois stays around and is caught again, while Superman confronts Mr. Tweed. After making another rescue, Superman forces confessions from the Tweeds, and a new man is put in charge of the home.
