Synopsis:
To help newspaper circulation, the Newsboy Legion publishes their own paper dealing with the local problems in Suicide Slum. Their stories help to capture several hoods hiding in town, and the paper is a success.

Franklin Clark of a much larger newspaper offers a job to Big Words, forcing the boy to leave his friends behind. However, Big Words discovers that Clark is really working with crooks and hired the boy in order silence him. The Newsboy Legion and the Guardian come to his rescue, exposing the crooked publisher in the process.
