This story is continued from the second story of Unknown Soldier #254 and continues in the fourth story of Unknown Soldier #256.

Synopsis:
Captain Fear infiltrates the Spanish fortress on the island of San Bastienne. He holds the governor at swordpoint and forces him to translate a document retrieved from a Dutch merchant ship. The document is an agreement between Japan and England to aid each other in their current conflicts. The governor, however, claims the document is a simple trade agreement.

Before further action can be taken, a Japanese ninja enters. He has been sent to retrieve the document and kill anyone with knowledge of it. Fear battles the ninja while the governor calls his soldiers. When the soldiers arrive both the intruders escape. The governor plans to meet Captain Fear later to buy the document which will be valuable to England's enemies.
