Part 2: "Face-to-Face with the Protector"
Synopsis:
Ant-Man responds to trouble at a jewelery store. The owner, Gerald Marsh, explains that a masked racketeer called the Protector demanded money, and then disintegrated his jeweler case. Other jewelery stores have been threatened, so the Ant-Man has his ants keep watch. When the Protector strikes again, Ant-Man confronts him. However, he is unable to stop the criminal from getting away.
Henry Pym then sets himself up with his own jewelery store to draw the attention of the Protector. When the villain shows up, Henry has his ants lead him back to his lair. Ant-Man battles the Protector again. This time his wins. The Protector is unmasked as Gerald Marsh, the original jewelery store owner.
