Synopsis:
Slam rescues a girl from a three-toed ape and its master. The girl, Betty Gladstone, explains that her father is in Africa searching for a city of ape-men. The ape's master was trying to force her to return to Africa with him.

Slam and Shorty join Betty on a trip to Africa to locate her father. On the way, they are again attacked by the ape and its master. Shorty is kidnapped, and soon Slam and Betty are captured too. They are led to the city of ape-men where they meet Professor Gladstone.

The ape master places Slam and Shorty into a pit with Gladstone, then releases a group of apes to attack them. Betty places herself in danger too by jumping into the pit. Slam uses a whip to drag the ape master into the put with them, where the apes kill him. Slam and the others then flee the city to safety.
