Part 2 of "Gangwar"

This story is continued in part from Adventures of Superman #432 and continues in part in Adventures of Superman #434.

Synopsis:
Jimmy Olsen breaks up an armed robbery at a grocery store. He catches one of the crooks and discovers that it is Jerry White. He chooses to let Jerry go, so that Perry does not find out. When Lois finds out, she visits Jose Delgado who is fostering Jerry. Lois gains evidence of Jerry's involvement with gangs and wants to run the story, but Perry is conflicted.

Meanwhile Jerry is arrested and sent to jail. He refuses to cooperate with police, and the other prisoners beat him to remind him not to talk. Jose visits Jerry and is told that Luthor is behind the gang war. Jose speaks out against Luthor and is nearly killed. Luthor then returns to his office for a report on Project Synapse in which gang members were given adrenal stimuli to cause anti-social behavior. Two subjects obtained super-strength for a limited time. Luthor is displeased with the result, because he wanted a higher success rate.
