This story is continued in part from Swamp Thing #73 and continues in Swamp Thing #75.
John Constantine's injuries are a result of his fall from a train, as shown in Hellblazer #7.
Synopsis:
Swamp Thing carries the Swamp Knucker to Mars where it can live alone. When he returns to Earth he finds Constantine injured and clinging to life. He forms an exo-skeleton around Constantine's body, then leads him to get help.
Meanwhile in the swamps, Abby encounters the limo driven by the Wild Thing. It chases Abby and the Sprout deeper into the swamp and surrounds her in a ring of fire. Swamp Thing rescues her, destroys the Wild Thing, and sets free the committee from the Parliament of Trees which had been bonded with it. He then must decide the fate of the Sprout.
