Synopsis:
A CIA soldier discovers the alien spaceship hidden inside the Mayan temple and unwittingly launches it into space. Deadman follows and takes possession of the soldier. When he realizes that he can't alter the course of the ship, Deadman returns to Earth.

The Mayan temple is now destroyed. As a result Talaoc begins to fade from existence. The archaeologist studying the temple is threatened by Major Kasaba, so Deadman tries to stop her. However, the alien weapon she found affects Deadman and leaves him paralyzed. Kasaba encases him in a special tube and ships him back to the Langley for further study.
