Synopsis:
The Forever People have returned to Earth, but the group is shattered by feelings of loss. Mark Moonrider gets drunk in a bar, then attacks the bartender when he demands payment. A woman in black calms Mark and offers payment for the damages. She is an agent of the Dark and begins corrupting Mark.
Big Bear finds Dreamer in a park with a child. The Dark attempts to tempt her into darkness using a simulacrum child to take the place of her unborn baby. Big Bear destroys the simulacrum, which snaps Dreamer back to reality, but also incites the anger of the nearby people. Dreamer creates an illusion which allows them to escape unmolested.
Maya takes Vykin and Serafin to a hilltop where she provides information to them about the Dark. She helps Serafin regain his confidence and explains that each of the Forever People have grown from their experiences. She then reveals her nature to Vykin.
