Synopsis:
Jim Corrigan has been shot in the head by a police officer. Pete Quarral accompanies the body to the morgue where he meets Kim Liang. Corrigan arrives in an otherworldly realm where he is greeted by the Phantom Stranger. When the Spectre arrives, he and Jim fight. In the meantime, Jim's body rises and leaves the morgue. Quarral and Kim follow it. The Spectre wins the battle with Jim in the afterlife and as a result, Jim is restored to life. He believes the Spectre is finally gone, but instead learns that he and the Spectre once again share the same body and only one of them can exist at the same time.
