Comments:
This story takes place chronologically in between the betrayal of Rocket Red #7 in Justice League International #9 and Dmitri Pushkin joining the JLI in Justice League International #11.

Synopsis:
Dmitri Pushkin is called to the office of Mikhail Gorbachev. General Turgenev has accused the Rocket Red of treason. Dmitri is asked to explain what he knows about the creation of the Rocket Red Brigade. He is then called on to answer for his brother-in-law who wants to emigrate to Israel.

During the conversation, Turgenev transforms into a robot assassin. Rocket Red protects Gorbachev and defeats the robot. After the battle, Gorbachev agrees to allow Vladimir to leave the country. Dmitri agrees to support Gorbachev's reform initiatives as the Rocket Red representative in the Justice League.
