Synopsis:
Aquaman and Aqualad search for a missing ship and meet Captain Sykes. Sykes claims to have taken the ship and forces Aquaman to recover two mysterious items.
The first item is a sunken chest that is buried in a coral mountain. The chest is protected by a gas which causes people and fish near it to grow to tremendous size and go berserk. Aqualad is exposed, but Aquaman avoids him until the effects wear off. The chest is recovered, and Aquaman is forced to go after the next item.
The item is a sea shell on a remote island. The island is guarded by a sea serpent. Aquaman defeats the serpent and gains possession of the shell.
When the items are turned over to Sykes, he reveals they are magical and can summon a genie-creature. He releases the captive crew of the missing ship, and Aquaman reveals that the shell is a fake. Sykes tries to get even after the double-cross, but is defeated in the end.
