Aquaman visits Atlantis for the first time.
Synopsis:
Aquaman is summoned to Atlantis by Pomoxis to investigate the source of some explosions near the underwater city. While investigating, Pomoxis turns on Aquaman and pushes him into a vortex. The vortex takes Aquaman 2500 years into the past.
In the present Pomoxis disguises himself as Aquaman and claims that Pomoxis was killed in the explosions. He then begins raiding cargo ships. Aqualad sees throught the deception and confronts Pomoxis, but the crook beats him and leaves with to die.
Aquaman is attacked in the past by a Persian army. Using his telepathic abilities Aquaman calls his fish friends to help. Aquaman is mistaken for Poseidon by both the Persians and a Greek army which he befriends. Aquaman then manages to locate another vortex to take him home.
Aquaman arrives in time to save Aqualad. Then together they face off against Pomoxis, using fish armies to battle each other. Aquaman prevails, then returns Pomoxis to Atlantis where he earns the gratitude of its people.
