Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty attend the carnival where Risiblo the clown performs. Risiblo explains to Slam that the stencil with which he applies his clown makeup was stolen. Slam helps look for it. During his search, Slam is attacked by a lion, and he saves the life of the carnival owner Colonel Parker. When the stencil is returned, Slam warns Risiblo not to use it. He deduces that it was covered in poison by the barker, Brass Cheyney. The barker wanted to eliminate both Risiblo and Parker, so that he would inherit the carnival. Slam and Shorty then capture Cheyney and his henchmen.
