Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty set out on the trail of Marvin "Red" Herring, a wanted crook with a thousand dollar reward on his head. Herring's striking red hair makes him easy to spot, but he uses an impostor to slip away from police. Slam isn't fooled and follows Red. He and Shorty get knocked out, but the crooks leave without finishing them off. Slam is puzzled until the police start chasing him. Herring dyed Slam's hair red to attract the cops. The misunderstanding is soon cleared up, then Slam finally succeeds in capturing Red.
