Comments:
This story takes place over a period of a number of years beginning with the birth of Condo Arlik. However, the story focuses on two major turning points. One in which Invisible Kid trains Condo and convinces him to join the Legion Academy. The second time period takes place following the death of Invisible Kid up until Chemical King's death.
Synopsis:
Condo Arlik was born with the ability to affect chemical reactions. When he was a baby scientists sought to teach him control of his powers lest they harm others. However, he grew up sheltered in a lab environment. When Condo reached his teenage years he met Invisible Kid, Lyle Norg. Lyle taught Condo to leave the lab, experience the real world, and how to use his powers. Condo was an early entrant in the Legion Academy and eventually joined the Legion itself.
Some time later after the death of Invisible Kid, Chemical King became despondent. Without his friend Condo was lost. He was thinking of quitting the Legion when a case came up involving Deregon. Condo sacrificed his own life to stop a bomb and save the rest of the Legion. A statue honoring the fallen Legionnaire was then placed next to that honoring his friend Invisible Kid.
