Synopsis:
Dr. Mid-Nite breaks up a fight between some young boys on the way to the monthly JSA meeting. He brings one of the boys to the meeting hoping to think of a way to preach tolerance. At the meeting a magical being appears. She sends the JSA back in time to fight against injustice and persecution.

Hawkman helps cavemen see the value of artists. Starman helps the Greeks realize that slaves are men too. Johnny Thunder teaches a baron of the Middle Ages the value of serfs. The Atom helps protect a suspected witch from persecution in Salem. Dr. Mid-Nite prevents the execution of a noble during the French Revolution. The Spectre saves an inventor from being killed by frightened workers.

Having completed their missions in the past, the JSA returns to the present. The magical being reveals herself as the Conscience of Man. She rewards the JSA with a greater understanding of the problem. To fight against hatred and persecution, the JSA take their message to the youth of America.
