Synopsis:
Jason Phillips married Irina Randolph, a wealthy woman with a bad heart. When Irina died, Jason collected her inheritance only if he kept her coffin close to him. A year later Jason gets married again. He sees the Phantom Stranger at his wedding.

Jason is soon driven mad by visions of his dead wife. His new wife Wanda wants Jason to get rid of the coffin. Jason finally admits to the Phantom Stranger that he killed his first wife for her money. He attacks the Stranger which leads to his own death when he is struck by a car sent to pick up the coffin.
