Synopsis:
Helena Bertinelli was the daughter of an italian mob family. When she was a child, she was kidnapped. She was found and returned to her family, but not before she was traumatized. Her father sent her away to school to protect her.

Eventually Helena grew up and went to college. One night while attending a party with her parents, a masked killer struck. The gunman, calling himself Omerta the Silencer, killed both of Helena's parents. He then targeted Helena.

In order to protect herself, Helena left school. She received training from her former bodyguard, then assumed the identity of the Huntress.
