Synopsis:
The Sandman learns of an extortion plot by a scientist who has invented a device capable of destroying the planet. Together with the scientist's niece Phoebe, the Sandman breaks into the installation containing the device. He manages to cut power to the raybeam before it destroys a squadron of military planes. Sandman then rescues Phoebe and apprehends the scientist.
