Synopsis:
Hitler makes an agreement with the leader of a mischeivous race of imps, the Squiffles, to disrupt the Allied Air Forces. The Squiffles cause many pilots to crash, until Superman rescues test pilot Paul Brodie. Brodie is discredited when he blames imps for the disruptions. Superman himself encounters the Squiffles, but is unable to stop their harassment of pilots. The Man of Steel flies to England to recruit another race of imps, the Gremlins, to fight the Squiffles. When the two races converge, the Squiffles plans are spoiled. The Squiffle leader Ixnayalpay still exacts his price upon Hitler, taking possession of the German leader’s body.
