Synopsis:
Hiram Pardee arrives in Metropolis from the country with a brand new fortune. Arch Angler, an underworld boss, uses Pardee and his fortune for criminal purposes. When Pardee finds out, Angler tries to have him and Lois Lane eliminated. Superman is able to prevent the murders and forces Angler's men to confess. Pardee then converts the roof of an apartment into a farm because he misses the country.
