Synopsis:
Detective John Jones has been assigned to stop a new criminal, the Conjurer. While on the assignment, Captain Harding, assigns a Dick Ruark to film the detective. When Jones catches up to the crook he is unable to use his martian powers with Ruark close by which allows the villain to escape.

On one encounter, Ruark is knocked out which allows Jones to become the Martian Manhunter and catch the Conjurer. However, when Ruark is revived he realizes his camera was running. To prevent his secret from being revealed, Jones tampers with the film and splices in images from a sci-fi film. The film can no longer reveal his secret.
