Synopsis:
Adam Strange arrives on Rann and awards scientist Akor Barth for his radiation-detector invention. Later the city-state of Akalon is menaced by a flying lens. Adam and the people of Rann are unable to prevent the lens from destroying Akalon, and Adam is transported back to Earth by the Zeta-Beam.

When Adam arrives back on Earth, he learns that a would-be conqueror is threatening the planet with futuristic technology. The radiation-detector helps him locate the conqueror, but he returns to Rann before confronting his opponent on Earth.

On Rann, Adam devises a way to track down the controller of the flying lens. After capturing the man, Adam takes the lens back to Earth to battle the futuristic machines. He drives them off and is able to defeat his opponent on Earth as well.
