Jimmy is transformed into a fat boy when he drinks a formula created by Professor Potter to enlarge farm animals. Jimmy’s immense size becomes a hazard when he continues to work as a reporter. Superman must come to his rescue while the professor works on an antidote.

A visiting maharajah has promised to give Jimmy his weight in jewels for saving his life. Jimmy’s tremendous weight allows Jimmy to take home 300 pounds worth. However, the entire situation was set up by crooks intending to smuggle the jewels into the country. Superman catches on to the scheme and thwarts the smugglers. Jimmy donates the rightful amount of jewels from the maharajah to charity.
