Synopsis:
Pressure from the district attorney to catch the Farrow Gang threatens the job of the chief of police. Detective John Jones vows to bring in the gang in 24 hours to save the chief's job. However, a comet passing near to Earth removes J'onn's powers while it is the vicinity. Jones is forced to track and capture the crooks without the aid of his powers. He trails one of the gang back to their hide-out, but gets captured. Using his wits, John escapes and brings down the mob within the promised 24 hours.
