Synopsis:
A strange wall of radiation has appeared near Central City. Flash must travel at the speed of light to penetrate it. On past the energy wall, Flash’s movement are slowed by the natural laws of the environment. A gaseous entity is behind the barrier. The entity attacks Flash with lightning, but is imprisoned inside Flash’s costume ring.

Flash later meets Iris West as Barry Allen. During an emotional motion, the being partially breaks free and begins to devour all metal in the area. Flash carries the being to a remote area where it completes it’s escape. The being tries to devour the ring to prevent itself from being caught again, but Flash vibrated the ring so that the being picked up the vibrations. The being is shaken apart and dissipated forever.
