Lex Luthor using his scientific genius to build inventions on the planet Roxar where he has been trapped. Using the inventions, he is able to create three android men, Diamond Man, Lead Man, and Kryptonite Man. With the help of the androids, Luthor is able to rob the robot citizens of Roxar of their radium supplies and power his rocket to escape their world.

Luthor then begins an intergalactic piracy spree, which brings his escape to the attention of Superman. When Superman finds and confronts his arch-nemesis, Luthor turns Kryptonite Man loose on the Man of Steel. Lead Man, having seen Luthor as evil, sacrifices himself to save Superman from the Kryptonite Killer. Superman then brings Luthor back to Earth, where he is placed in the psychiatric ward of prison, apparently having lost his mind.
