Comments:
Sgt. Rock receives a letter from his kid brother Bill, who is with the marines in the Pacific.

Synopsis:
Easy Company is joined by Nat, one of Rock's old high school friends. Nat is nicknamed Shaker because he shakes nervously when under pressure. Shaker is unable to return fire several times, putting himself and Easy in danger. Rock is unable to get Nat to overcome his fear. When a tank threatens Easy, Rock is wounded, and Shaker is left to fire on the tank. Only when Shaker dies is he able to pull the trigger and save Easy.
