Synopsis:
The Roving Ranger is disarmed by three rustlers, but he manages to get away from them. The outlaws pursue him to an old cave where he takes refuge. Inside the cave, the ranger finds an old rusty gun. While the pistol will not fire, he uses it to trick the outlaws into surrendering. Later, at headquarters he learns that the gun was left in the cave ten years earlier by a ranger who was killed in action.
