Crooks try to kill Batman using old flying machines. When they fail, they knock Robin unconscious and place him into a balloon. While Batman rescues him, the crooks try to escape. Batman returns in time to stop them. He exposes an operation to smuggle criminals out of Gotham in an old airship. Malcolm's assistant John Goss is exposed as the ringleader for the gang.
