Synopsis:
Batman breaks up a fight outside a theatre. He is unable to catch two men who were attacking a woman, but he learns that the girl is Alfred's niece, Daphne. He brings her to Wayne Manor where she is given a tour by Dick Grayson. She then invites everyone to a performance of Romeo and Juliet.
During the play, Daphne sneaks away between scenes. She returns to Wayne Manor to steal a rare manuscript from Bruce's collection. Alfred stops her, but she shoots him. Fortunately the gun is only a prop, so the butler is not injured.
Daphne returns to the theatre to give the manuscript to two crooks who have threatened to kill her father. Batman and Alfred stop the crooks, while Dick Grayson saves Daphne's life.
