Synopsis:
Superman and the Flash continue their race across the universe to counteract the Anachronids. During another encounter with the faster than light robots, the heroes are knocked out. They awaken back in the dimension from which they previously escaped. There they meet the creators of the Anachronids, the Phantom Zone criminals Kru-El, Jax-Ur, General Zod, and Professor Vakox.

Superman has no powers because the sun in this dimension is red. The Flash is exhausted from his race, and the villains have taken away the medallion given to him by the Guardians. Despite their weakness the heroes fight back. During the fight, Superman injures his ankle and the Flash's legs are temporarily paralyzed. To stop the rest of the villains and the Anachronids, Superman and the Flash have to crawl. A race that began at super-speed ends with the Flash crawling faster than Superman to reach the controls, shutting down the Anachronids and saving the universe.

With the Anachronids destroyed, the time distortions on Earth reverse themselves. This saves Jimmy Olsen, who was nearly killed while trapped in the past.
