"Who is Wonder Girl? Chapter One"

Although the cover of this issue indicates that this is Part 1 of 4, subsequent issues indicate that this is a five part story.

This story continues in New Titans #51.

Synopsis:
The Titans return home to Titans Tower where they find a glowing orb awaiting them. From the orb several aliens emerge. Wonder Girl is hit by the first attack barrage and severely injured. The other Titans protect Donna and Raven who tries to save the life of her teammate. After a brief battle, the aliens vanish in a burst of light triggered by a cloaked woman.

The woman refuses to identify herself and demands to speak to the one called Troy. After Raven heals Donna, the woman establishes a telepathic link with Donna which reveals that all memories she has between her time as a baby and joining the Titans are false. Eventually the link is broken and the old woman collapses.

The Titans try to help the woman who is dying of old age. She now reveals that her name is Phoebe, goddess of the moon. She claims that the Titans of myth are dying and only Donna can save them.
