Synopsis:
The Martian Manhunter confronts a gang of crooks using oversized robotic animals to assist them in their thefts. J’onn stops the first robbery, but suddenly finds himself weakened.

In his John Jones guise he remains healthy, but when he assumes his martian identity, J’onn becomes incredibly weak. The cause is a strange meteorite outside of town. J’onn is unable to destroy it, and the effect is becoming worse.

Realizing J’onn is too weak to stop them, the remaining criminals attack the city. J’onn comes to the rescue, having regained his strength. Fortunately, the meteorite burned itself out, and it's effect on J’onn ended. Back at full strength, J’onn defeats the crooks.
