Synopsis:
Another menaces arises from the Idol-Head of Diabolu. This time the menace is in the form of a giant cobra. Zook looks the beast up in the legend of Diabolu and discovers only an alien can defeat the creature, but at the cost of vanishing himself. He warns J'onn before the Manhunter touches the creature. J'onn then tries long range attacks, which fail to halt the creature's rampage. J'onn finally engages the creature in a physical battle. As the legend predicted J'onn disappears. However, he was absorbed into the creature. J'onn is then able to use his shape-shifting power to revert himself, now combined with the creature, into his normal form.
