Synopsis:
Danny and Rex ride along in an ambulance with Dr. Chambers for a day. The doctor tells them not to expect much excitement as they will be handling routine calls. On the way to the first call, they witness an accident. Rex pulls the victims to safety. Next they happen upon a fire, where Rex saves a woman trapped in the building. Finally, they reach the scene of the original call. An escaped killer surprises them and forces the doctor to take him past police. Rex stops the killer and prevents anyone from being harmed. The doctor is then able to reach his patient.
