Synopsis:
Bruce Gordon, Professor Bennett, and Mona are kidnapped during their caribbean vacation. Professor Bennett is accused of causing enormous jungle growth that has overgrown a small island. The professor claims his innocence and develops an antidote, which causes the plants to grow too fast, destroying themselves.
The growth formula is then stolen by nazi war criminal Karl Kluge. Kluge’s identityis not known, but a photo causes authorities to believe he is Eclipso. When an eclipse causes Gordon to become Eclipso again, Kluge forms a partnership with him. Eclipso double-crosses Kluge, but is blinded by a burst of light. He becomes Gordon again and signals Bennett to rescue him. Authorities shoot Kluge on sight, because his facial lotion partially washed away, causing his appearance to resemble Eclipso.
