Synopsis:
A highwayman known as the Black Bandit terrorizes France. With authorities unable to capture the bandit, americans worry about a scheduled gold shipment from France. Tomahawk and Dan Hunter are sent across the Atlantic to guard the gold. When the Black Bandit strikes, Tomahawk pretends to have magic powers to turn the gold into worthless metal. When the Bandit opens the gold chests, he sets off a trap which allows Tomahawk to capture him. The Bandit is exposed as a nobleman, the Duke of Flaubert. Tomahawk then sees that the gold is safely loaded aboard a ship.
